Twinkle, twinkle little app, it's so good to see you're back!
It's been a long time coming.
Twinkle was a Twitter client that launched in 2008. So for it's tenth anniversary, here's an overview of what's new and improved with it.
Expanded new interface
Twinkle existed when device screens were only 4 inches big, so the new redesign leverages a bigger interface modern devices can afford.
Longer posts and inline media
Enjoy longer 300 character posts, full inline images and videos, and an all new commenting system. This doubles the amount of space posts used to be and allows for more in depth conversations.
Detailed profiles
People can represent themselves with a more streamlined profile that includes media galleries, cover photos, and a pinned emoji. There's so many ways to express yourself now!
Local trends
One of the defining features of Twinkle was it's ability to tag and organize posts by a general location into what's called the Local Feed. This feed is smarter and can now show you local trending topics.
